Federal Council adopts report on analysis of gender pay gap in relation to marital status and parenthood

Factors such as marital status, parenthood and age are associated with different wage levels for men and women. At its meeting on 27 August 2025, the Federal Council adopted a report on this topic in response to Dobler postulate 22.4500. The report has identified additional indicators for monitoring gender pay equality, which will be included in future statistics.
