Help for interpretation
This indicator is based on surveys on perceived corruption in the public sector conducted among specialists in the countries surveyed and by business people. It is produced and published by the NGO Transparency International. Countries are ranked by their Corruption Perceptions Index. A country’s ranking can change from one year to the next even if the index does not alter.
