Inpatient psychiatry in Switzerland 9 out of 10 patients leave inpatient psychiatric clinics on a permanent basis
Neuchâtel, 29.06.2010 (Obsan) - The Swiss Health Observatory (Obsan) commissioned two studies on the use of inpatient acute psychiatric care in Switzerland. The results show that nine out of ten patients are able to permanently leave the clinic after a single crisis. One out of ten persons stays in an acute psychiatric clinic either for an above-average duration or frequency.
