Consumer sentiment higher than a year ago

In July 2024 the consumer sentiment index stood at −32 points. This is 5 points higher than in July 2023. The following sub-indices are higher than in July 2023: economic outlook, past financial situation, financial outlook, and moment to make major purchases.
