Although the surveys used do not exclude people employed on the “sheltered market” (sheltered employment), such people are extremely rare in samples. It is therefore safe to assume that the results shown reflect participation in the “ordinary” labour market (open employment). With regard to the sheltered market, a section is dedicated specifically to work in sheltered workshops.
