The total SHIVALV recipient rates and the recipient rates for the individual benefit systems in the trajectories in the social security system statistics (SHIVALV) are based on the number of recipients cumulated over the entire year of an IV pension, an ALV daily allowance or social assistance (SH) and based on the permanent resident population aged 18 to 64/65 years at the end of the respective year. These are not unemployment, IV benefit or social assistance rates. These separately published rates for the individual benefit systems have their own definitions and differ significantly from the recipient rates in the trajectories in the social security system statistics (SHIVALV).
