According to the Federal Statistical Office's (FSO) reference scenario, numbers will rise by 15% for the upper secondary level (from 390 000 to 450 000 students) and by 18% for all universities and institutes of technology, universities of applied sciences and of teacher education (from 276 000 to 326 000 students).
