Steady growth in the number of employees in enterprise groups

21.11.2024 - At the end of 2023, 63 125 enterprises in Switzerland were part of an enterprise group. They employed nearly 2.1 million people, which corresponds to more than 40% of the total number of jobs in the market economy sector. The number of jobs in enterprise groups has risen steadily since 2014, although this growth has been uneven across different sectors. These are the latest results of the Enterprise Group Statistics of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
