Nominal wage growth of 1.8% in 2024 and real wages increase by 0.7%

22.04.2025 - In 2024, the Swiss Nominal Wage Index recorded an average increase of 1.8% compared with the previous year, reaching 104.2 points (base 2020 = 100). Given average annual inflation of +1.1%, real wages rose by 0.7%, arriving at 97.6 points (base 2020 = 100) according to calculations by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
