The general speed limit for vehicles under good road, traffic and visibility conditions is: 50 km/h in urban areas, 80 km/h outside urban areas (except motorways), 100 km/h on motor roads, 120 km/h on motorways (Art. 4a of the Traffic Regulations Ordinance / SR 741.11).
