Average travelling time spent per person per day within Switzerland. Unless otherwise specified, the results are based on the permanent resident population in Switzerland aged 6 and over. Waiting and transfer times are only partly included (see explanation in tables and graphics). For reasons related to the survey methodology, a part of the distance travelled on trips with overnight stays is not included.
