In 2024, the balance sheet total of Switzerland's 1292 pension funds reached CHF 1220.6 billion (1129.1 billion in the previous year), with a positive net return on investment of 83.7 billion (54.2 billion in the previous year). In addition, value fluctuation reserves increased, and the level of underfunding continued to decline.
