This chart shows the trend in area under cultivation, since 2023.
The area under cultivationwas approximately 279,660 hectares in 2025. Cereals are by far the most important arable crop, followed by silage corn. Next came rapeseed for edible oil, sugar beet, outdoor vegetables and potatoes. In 2025, there was an average of 152 m² of cereal crops per person, 25 m² of rapeseed, 15 m² of outdoor vegetables and 12 m² of potatoes.
