Slight increase in unemployment among graduates

29.8.2024 - Between 2021 and 2023, graduate unemployment (ILO definition) rose from 2.7% to 3.2%. One year after graduating in 2022, 3.9% of master's graduates from the universities and institutes of technology (UIT) and 3.4% of bachelor's graduates from the universities of applied sciences (UAS) were unemployed. Entry into the labour market was easiest for graduates from the universities of teacher education (UTE), who had an unemployment rate of only 0.8%. These are the main findings of the Graduate Survey (EHA) for 2022 from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
