New registrations of road motor vehicles

In 2025, 329 310 new motor vehicles were registered in Switzerland: 2.0% less than in 2024. Passenger cars accounted for over two-thirds of new vehicles, with a total of 232 602 registrations. For the sixth consecutive year, this figure remained well below pre-pandemic levels.
