Falling prices were recorded compared with the previous month in the Producer Price Index, particularly for pharmaceutical products and for chemical products. Meat and meat products also became cheaper. On the other hand, prices for petroleum products and electricity (for large consumers) rose.

Petroleum products as well as petroleum and natural gas in particular were responsible for the increase in the Import Price Index compared with January 2026.
