More transparency in federal statistics: Federal Council adopts new Federal Statistics Ordinance
30.04.2025 - The Federal Council adopted the new Federal Statistics Ordinance (FStatO) at its meeting on 30 April 2025. The organisation of federal statistics and the activities of all producers of federal statistics are now covered by a single ordinance. The ordinance now regulates in more detail and in chronological order all the activities in the value creation process for federal statistics. The various services currently carried out in the field of data science are also included in the ordinance.
