Greenhouse gas emissions other than CO2 (CH4, N2O, HFC, PFC and SF6) are converted into CO2 equivalents according to their global warming potential (GWP) to ensure better comparability. One kilogramme of CH4 corresponds to 28 kg of CO2, and one kilogramme of N2O is equivalent to 265 kg of CO2.
