Consumer prices remained stable in April

05.05.2025 - The consumer price index (CPI) remained unchanged in April 2025 compared with the previous month, at 107.5 points (December 2020 = 100). Inflation was +0.0% compared with the same month of the previous year. These are the results of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).

The stability of the index compared with the previous month was the result of contrasting trends that offset one another overall. Prices for clothing and fruiting vegetables increased, along with those for air transport and products for personal care. In contrast, prices for hotels and supplementary accommodation decreased, as did those for mountain railways and domestic package holidays.
