Civil aerodromes

In air transport, the 3 national airports ‒ Zurich, Geneva and Basel ‒ connect Switzerland to European and global centres. 11 Regional airports primarily serve business, tourist and commuter travel. In addition, in 2025 Switzerland had a total of 46 airfields, 23 heliports and 4 military airfields that are also used for civilian purposes.
