Structural survey data from several consecutive years (e.g. 3 or 5 years) can be pooled to obtain larger samples and thus results that are sufficiently accurate for smaller geographic levels (e.g. districts or communes) and/or for narrower categories (e.g. multi-family households or little-spoken languages).
