The population feels healthy on the whole

Neuchâtel, 02.11.2010 (FSO) - A large majority (87%) of the population of Switzerland consider themselves to be in good or very good health. However, a good third of the population is overweight. Similarly, only two out of five people engage in sufficient physical activity during their leisure time. These findings emerge from the synthesis report of the Swiss Health Survey 2007, published by the FSO. This report presents an overview of the health of the population in Switzerland and the factors that influence it.
