Consumer sentiment significantly higher than a year ago

In October 2024 the consumer sentiment index stood at -37 points. This is 16 points higher than in October 2023. The following subindices were higher than in October 2023: economic outlook, past financial situation, financial outlook and moment to make major purchases.
