Victim assistance: consultations rose by 50'000 in 2024

10.06.2025 - In 2024, 51 547 consultations were recorded by centres providing assistance to victims in the wake of a physical, psychological or sexual offence. This represents an increase of 5% compared with 2023. The cantonal authorities awarded over CHF 6.5 million in compensation or in damages for pain and suffering for victims of offences or their next of kin. These figures are from the Victim Assistance Statistics of the Federal Statistical Office.
